Amber + Ash was born from a deep passion for beauty, self-care, and creating a serene space where luxury meets relaxation. I, Jessica , wanted the studio to be more than just a salon, I wanted to make it an experience—designed to rejuvenate both body and mind. From the moment you step inside, you’ll be enveloped in an elegant ambiance, where every detail is tailored to your needs. Whether you choose a full Amber + Ash session or an express version, the goal is the same: for you to leave feeling refreshed, confident, and ready to take on your day. My Journey to create Amber + Ash My journey in the beauty industry began when I was just 16 years old, working as an assistant in salons throughout high school. After graduating from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy in 2000, I dedicated myself to perfecting my craft, traveling to New York for advanced education and trainings with Bumble & Bumble, Beth Minardi and many more. I started my career at La Pomponnée Day Spa and later worked at Salon Bella. My incredible mentors there shaped the stylist I am today, and I carry their lessons with me in everything I do for my clients. Being a mother of 3 active boys and one beautiful girl, after having my third child, my husband and I made the decision that I would step away from the salon world to focus on raising our family. While taking that break, I never lost my passion for beauty. I continued practicing my skills, knowing that when the time was right, I would return to my calling. The idea of a private salon suite, like Sola Salon, gave me the perfect opportunity to balance my love for my family and my career. It allowed me the freedom to create a space that truly reflects my vision—where clients feel pampered, cared for, and uplifted. The Meaning Behind the Name Amber + Ash was inspired by a transformative women’s retreat I attended in Costa Rica. That trip gave me the confidence and courage to step outside my comfort zone and rediscover my creative self.    •   Amber represents healing, spirituality, and energy—it wards off negativity and fosters self-confidence, courage, and renewal.    •   Ash symbolizes transformation, rebirth, and a fresh start—just like a phoenix rising from the ashes. This meaning reflects where I am in my life today and what I want to offer to others: a safe, peaceful place where you can unwind, feel beautiful, never feel judged, and experience renewal.
